Iron & Rivets in Heaven.

How many times have I crossed this stretch of US-2 and never knew this lay beneath my wheels? Dozens, if not more. A long time ago a fellow kayaker dropped an image of this work of art on his photography feed and I never knew that it was always right beneath my feet, quite literally. It’s absolutely gorgeous, the Cut River Bridge in Michigan’s upper peninsula. Who knew that Heaven needed a bit of help with some iron and a few rivets?
